About the project

Challenge


Único is the largest Brazilian digital identity unicorn and the leading identity verification company in Latin America.
With a strong presence in Brazil and solutions widely adopted by banks, retailers, fintechs, and large enterprises, the company began a strategic movement of international expansion, led by José, Global Marketing Director.


MDN was chosen to build the digital foundation of this expansion, with three core challenges:


  1. Create a corporate website for the United States

    • New positioning
    • New narratives
    • Specific use cases for the American market
    • Technical, regulatory, and commercial language aligned with the U.S. context

  2. Create a corporate website for Mexico

    • Adaptation to regulations and market practices
    • Customized content structure
    • Unique usability and navigation logic
    • Full migration of the existing content, with SEO preservation

  3. Build a Webflow ecosystem capable of:

    • Supporting multiple countries
    • Scaling quickly into new geographies
    • Allowing variations in content, products, messages, and social proof
    • Being operated by the global team with agility
    • Unified integration with HubSpot for international leads

The project required technical depth, fluency in global UX, strong SEO rigor, and sensitivity to each country's cultural context.

Solution


MDN developed an international website ecosystem, based on a modular and flexible architecture within Webflow, ready for expansion, speed, and global autonomy.

1. Global Clean Identity + Advanced Motion Design

We created a lightweight, modern, and technological visual language, incorporating:


  • Refined microinteractions

  • Motion design simulating real facial verification flows

  • Animated mockups with authentication flows

  • Dynamic Gen AI elements

  • Fluid, mobile-first navigation

The goal: to convey security, innovation, and simplicity, especially for markets that do not yet know the brand.

2. Multi-country Architecture for International Scale


We created a single system capable of supporting multiple markets. The United States and Mexico gained:


  • Own navigation structures

  • Copywriting adapted to cultural, technical, and compliance realities

  • Custom use case sections

  • Localized social proof

  • Solutions renamed and reorganized according to each market's maturity

The foundation was built to enable future expansion to other countries with minimal operational effort.

3. HubSpot Integrated for International Leads

All forms were integrated directly with global HubSpot, ensuring:

  • Tracking by country

  • Correct opportunity segmentation

  • Integration with global pipelines

  • Standardized conversion

4. Complete Content Migration (Mexico)


We migrated dozens of contents from Único Mexico:


  • Articles

  • Categories

  • Tags

  • URLs

  • Social proof

With full preservation of:


  • SEO structure

  • Indexing

  • Redirects

  • Content hierarchy


This protected the authority built and prevented any loss of rankings on Google.

5. Ethics Channel Adapted to Each Country

We created a simple, secure, and accessible system for companies to submit reports or requests: adapted for both markets.

The new digital ecosystem of Único:

  • Drastically improves clarity of global positioning

  • Allows technical solutions such as KYC, liveness, and anti-fraud to be presented fluently

Today, these sites are the official gateway for new markets, reinforcing the company's internationalization strategy and allowing Único to position itself as a global leader in the era of Gen AI + digital identity.
