A mobile experience to change the way in which thousands of customers across Brazil book airline tickets, accommodations, and tour packages.

MDN joined the Zupper technology team to create a new mobile app that will allow thousands of users to have an intuitive journey searching for airline tickets, booking accommodation, a simple and optimized checkout flow, as well as managing their orders in a centralized and easy to view.

Challenge

In order to provide an experience that replicated the user's shopping experience through the website, but that would bring a completely remodeled and modern visual presentation, Zupper needed a mobile application that would engage users, through a personalized browsing experience and that would centralize all aspects of the business in one place, strengthening the business's revenue strategy.

Solution

With the premises and objectives defined for the project, we designed the entire Design System of the project based on Atomic Design, the “Zupper UI” for the scalability of the design team and the efficient reuse of components and interface elements.

We also design the entire app journey based on the logic of intelligent and contextual recommendation for the user. In the initial part of the journey, we brought a customized onboarding process to understand the traveler's profile, as well as preferred destinations, travel frequency, and other points.

We applied a tabbed concept to switch between searches for Flights, Accommodations and Packages, with just a few clicks from the search results page.

We also brought a totally innovative and original experience for viewing the results for multi-destination tickets.

Finally, we also expanded the concept of searching and buying travel packages, with a logic of recommendations and also an intuitive and fast flow for defining tickets and accommodations.

Impact

With the new interface, users now have simplified and centralized access to all travel options, which significantly increased customer engagement and satisfaction. The recommendation logic and the intuitive flow for searching and buying travel packages contribute to an increase in bookings and a strengthening of the business's revenue strategy.

In short, Zupper's new mobile app not only improves the user experience, but also boosts the company's growth and operational efficiency, consolidating itself as an example of innovation and excellence in the digital tourism sector.
